	ELECTRONIC POSTING SYSTEM  The General Services Administration (GSA) has teamed with NASA, Department of Transportation, and others to develop, pilot, and implement a Government-wide electronic posting system. EPS  has two primary features a central government-wide index, and an application that allows buyers to post notice of procurements, directly, to the internet. The hallmark of EPS is that it is not a "standalone" application built for the single purpose of announcing business opportunities. EPS is rather an integral part of the much larger Federal Electronic Commerce Framework. It's "object oriented", modular design, allows tremendous flexibility in deployment options and interconnectivity. This system provides: A consistent posting of acquisition-related documents. "One stop" electronic searching and identification of business opportunities by interested trading partners. Automatic e-mail notification of Federal business opportunities, enabling passive notification to interested vendors. A reliable and transparent interface for fulfilling federal synopsis requirements. NC DIVISION OF PURCHASE AND CONTRACT  The State of North Carolina purchases a wide variety of commodities and services ranging from pencils to computers, with a total value in excess of $2.9 billion annually. The Division of Purchase and Contract is the central purchasing authority for all state departments, institutions, agencies, community colleges, technical institutes, and city or local boards of education. It also makes purchasing services available to local governments, charitable non-profit hospitals, local non-profit community sheltered workshops, volunteer fire departments and rescue squads.  CBDNet (Commerce Business Daily)  CBDNet is the Government's official FREE electronic version of the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). The Commerce Business Daily (CBD) lists notices of proposed government procurement actions, contract awards, sales of government property, and other procurement information. A new edition of the CBD is issued every business day. Each edition contains approximately 500-1,000 notices. VENDOR LINK NC   Vendors who register will receive next day e-mail notification of procurement opportunities for products and services that they have selected.
