Over 6,000 visitors, newcomers, residents, and others contact the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce each year requesting information about our community and our members. These inquires, combined with hits to our website, generate thousands of referrals. We only recommend members! If you are not a member, you are missing out on valuable business exposure!
Brochure Display - The Chamber building is an official newcomer/visitor center for Wayne County and by being so we have an enormous amount of foot traffic. Members have the opportunity to display brochures or business cards in the front lobby.
Visions Magazine is the guide to the goods and services of Wayne County. The magazine is used in relocation packages for newcomers and businesses considering a move to Wayne County, military personnel newly assigned to Seymour Johnson and as a quick reference to the businesses and services available in Wayne County. Members are listed alphabetically and have two listings by category in the Chamber's printed directory.
Referrals - Every year the Chamber makes thousands of telephone, walk-in and e-mail referrals to its members. Plus, each month Chamber members receive more than 15,000 referrals from the Chamber's web site, www.waynecountychamber.com. What a great way to drive business to your door!
Relocation leads are available to members by joining "BIZNET". A Biznet Subscription is a great way to find out who is planning to move to Wayne County and begin marketing your business to them first. Receive a weekly report on all newcomer and business inquiries. Biznet Plus give you the opportunity to put inserts in the Reloction packes promoting your product or service to those who are relocating to the Wayne County Area. This is an affordable way to gain visibility to over hundreds of potential customers/clients before they even arrive in Wayne County. You provide the brochures and we do the rest. Biznet Subscription is offered to members only. If a Chamber member wanted to receive both Biznet (the list of those who received the relocation packages) and Biznet Plus (insert their flyer in the relocation packages), we have a discounted price for the Biznet Package. Ready to mail Relocation packages are available to Chamber members at a discount.
Valuable On-line Exposure - The Chamber's web site www.waynecountychamber.com, is the premiere information source about Wayne County, generates thousands of hits per month and contains an online membership directory. Members are searchable, by alphabetically, by name, by category, key woods or quick links and can include a link to your own website. Each member's listing is linked to thier page that they can create on our web site. They can add a description of thier products and services, driving directions, hours of operation and eight additional key word for the search engine. The on-line directory gives members world wide exposure, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Members have two listings in the Chamber's on-line directory and have the option to promote their business on the web site with sponsor ads.
Credibility - Your membership decal demonstrates your commitment to the community by becoming a part of the vision and strategies of the most influential business organization in the County, the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce. Your membership decal helps you tell the world - "I care enough about my community to belong to a GREAT Chamber that is not only helping businesses, but working hard to improve our community."

Grand Openings - For Chamber members who have opened a new business in the area, a new branch location, new management or ownership, the Chamber will arrange for a City or County official, Chamber Ambassadors and Board members to attend and conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Premium, targeted exposure for your business is available in print. Visions Magazine is the premiere information source for newcomers considering a move to Wayne County and for businesses wanting a quick reference. The Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Guide is the premiere information source for current military personnel and for those newly assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. These two publications contain the same advertising and editorial content with the exception of Air Force Base specific information.
The Wayne County Chamber produces the official Goldsboro City, Wayne County, Seymour Johnson Map, every year. This is the only map that is recognized and distributed by the city, county, base and Chamber.
One of the many ways your Chamber provides you with great exposure is the ability to include your company's flier in our monthly mailer, Bi$Mail. A real value at only $100 for half page and $200 for full page. Bi$Mail is an excellent way to reach our community's decision makers.
Chamber Express - Our e-newsletter, highlights current Chamber and business news, and upcoming events. Low cost advertisement opportunities are available to members.
Sponsorships are available for many of the Chamber's meetings, programs, committees and events. Packages usually include promotional materials with company logos, plus recognition in our monthly newsletter, monthly mailer-Bi$Mail, news releases and much more.
