The Annual Banquet is the only Chamber event that brings over 300 of the Who's Who of the Wayne County region business community together on one night, in one place at one time. During the Banquet the prestigious Cornerstone Award is presented to a citizen of Wayne County for a lifetime of service to our community. The Chamber also conducts its Annual Meeting with the introduction of the new Board and its goals for the coming year.
EXPO - Each spring the Chamber hosts the region's largest and most affordable trade show with over 80 exhibitors. Your EXPO booth is an easy cost-effective way to reach hundreds of managers, buyers, decision makers and the public who are eager to do business with you. Attend the Chamber's annual EXPO for home and business and get ready to network your way to great leads and contacts.
GPC Trade Show gives businesses the opportunity to exhibit their products and services to the government purchase cardholders.
Coffee Connection - Business Before Hours-Make business contacts at this informal gathering before the business day begins. Held at various member businesses from 8am to 9am.
Welcome Reception - This is a casual networking event accompanied by an overview of Chamber services, including key networking tips and strategies to maximize your Chamber membership. A must for anyone new to the Wayne County Chamber.
Our Business After Hours are a popular way to network with business, professional and community leaders. Business After Hours is a great way to stay current on Chamber and community happenings. This networking event features; tabletop exhibitors, refreshments, door prizes and a multitude of business contacts. Business After Hours are held monthly at member locations, attracting approximately 150 members and future members.
Reverse Drawing - This is a fundraiser for the Chamber and is open to the public.
Corporate Spelling BEE - This is a fun event where team members work together to spell the words correctly to stay in the competition. This is a fundraiser for teacher mini-grants, the Jr. Leadership and teacher incentive programs.
Leadership Wayne County- Meet up and coming leaders and business executives while learning to lead Wayne County into the future.
Getting Involved in Committees- The Chamber is a volunteer driven organization. Volunteering for one of the committtees that interest you, provides you with an excellent opportuntiy to work shoulder to shoulder with other community leaders who could become prospective new clients. Opportunities for involvement - As a member, you can participate in a variety of our committees, including Ambassadors, Agri-buisness, Governmental Affairs, Membership Services, Education, Transportation, Military Affairs, Business Development and Tourism.
