Government Affairs - The Chamber takes care of politics so you can take care of your business. We are a respected voice when it comes to protecting and promoting free enterprise and minimizing government interference and taxation.
Advancing Business Issues - Your Chamber serves as a strong advocate for local business. We play a valuable educational role keeping you informed on local, county, regional, and state issues that can affect your profitability. As the voice of business in our community, our voice grows louder every time our Chamber grows!
Volunteer Programs - Add extra value to your Chamber membership with involvement in programs dealing with customer service, legislative matters, education, transportation, social events, and more. Have access to influential business leaders with Volunteer opportunities.
Workforce Development - To identify the needs of the Wayne County region and facilitates the development of initiatives to address these needs. Its ultimate goal is to ensure the region's workforce is prepared to meet the needs of the current and future businesses in our region and ensure the economic well being of workers, companies and communities alike.
Legislative Briefings - Area and state legislators are invited to discuss local concerns related to a specific topic or in general such as prior to the opening or closing of the legislative session.

Transportation - The Chamber represents the interests and issues of the general Chamber membership at all levels of government in regards to all forms of transportation.
Business Development - Our Chamber promotes "Shop Local" programs and develops resources to provide mentoring and training to existing and emerging small businesses.
Education- Our Chamber works with Wayne County Schools and education action groups in providing children with a level of education excellence that prepares them for thier chosen career.
Military Affairs- The Chamber recognizes that he base is a vital economic and social asset to the community's overall quality of life. The Chamber continues to support the Air Force personnel and their families at SJAFB and to be the liaison with the military community.
Community Improvement Projects - Our community isn't "Them". Our community is "us". The Chamber anticipates and delivers programs important to our businesses and our families. Uniting professionals throughout the area to work together to accomplish collectively what cannot be done alone.
Our Chamber is affiliated with regional and national business organization and lobbing groups. We participate and watch for legislative and partnerships that could affect our community. The Wayne County Chamber belongs to American Chamber of Commerce Executives, Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, North Carolina Chamber Federation, Chambers of Eastern North Carolina, Chambers of Commerces of the Eastern NC Region.
