Special Olympics Wayne County North Carolina- Become a Volunteer “Get Involved”
The scheduled upcoming games are as follows January 23, 2018 Basketball (W.A. Foster Center), January 24, 2018 Basketball- Elementary, Middle, Edgewood Schools ( W.A. Foster), January 25, 2018 Basketball- High School ( W.A. Foster). All volunteers would need to report to W. A. Foster by 8:00 am, and the gaming event will start at 10:00am, you can sign up for one or more events.

Every Child Deserves A Christmas Help
Every Child Deserves a Christmas if you are willing to sponsor a child, a family or make a donation. These foster kids are deserving of love, especially in light of the instability they are facing during the holidays. Thank you for making a difference! Pam Gatlin, who works in our Family Court, and she already has a binder full of children in Wayne County and their pertinent information. Please call her 919-722-6254  or email her at pam.s.gatlin@nccourts.org and she will get you looped in with the right fit for what you’re willing/able to do. Thank you for supporting these worthy children!

Salvation Army Volunteer Bell Ringers needed
The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers and sponsors for the Red Kettle Christmas program, please see attached letters for more information. The Red Kettle Christmas program gives local businesses or individuals the chance to volunteer at Red Kettle location for a season at a location of your choosing. The kettle locations vary within the two counties that The Salvation Army serve.
The kettle season is November 17, 2017 thru December 23, 2017 (Monday – Saturday 9am – 7pm). The links below will allow for individuals, groups, or businesses to sign up as volunteers ringing the bell for the Red Kettle program or to volunteer for disaster work within The Salvation Army.
