Preparation, Not Panic.

This time one week ago, few could have imagined what discussions we would all be having around the dinner table and in our businesses. Members of this community and around the globe are having to make tough decisions and the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is prepared to assist you through this time.

We encourage you to consider moving in-person meetings to online or phone conferencing for the next few weeks. Popular options include, Free Conference, Go To Meeting, Zoom, Webex.

The NC Chamber has released a resource guide that can be found here. Other information they have included is about Federal Labor and Employment Laws, and Best Practices in Establishing a Cross-Functional Team to Manage Preparation and Response. If you have other questions, resources are available and we stand ready to help you. F

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce will be rescheduling programs and events scheduled to take place over the coming weeks. You will receive notification regarding new dates as they are available.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we engage with you in new ways. We have an incredibly strong and collaborative business community, and we will get through this together! We encourage you to visit the Membership Directory here for a list of fellow members.

Please continue to respect and adhere to the guidance of the healthcare professionals.
