Senior Companions Needed
The WAGES Senior Companion Program needs senior volunteers to serve as a friend and a companion to frail adults in their homes. Seniors who are at least 55 years of age and have a special love for the elderly are encouraged to apply at the WAGES office, 601 Royall Avenue or contact Ms. Delbra McIntyre, Senior Volunteer Programs Director at (919) 734-1178.

Goldsboro YMCA Youth Triathlon – June 30th
The Goldsboro Family YMCA is excited to host the 3rd annual Youth Triathlon on June 30, 2018 at 7:30 am.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help support this race. Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
• Transition
• Directional (on the route along Parkway Drive and at every turn going towards/in Olde Farm subdivision)
• Timers
• Finish line

2018 Expunctions Clinic – June 30th
On Saturday, June 30th from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Wayne County Courthouse, the Wayne County Bar Association is sponsoring a clinic to assist low income individuals in getting their criminal record expunged or obtaining a Certificate of Relief. If you believe that you may be eligible to get your criminal record clean, please contact B. Vanhook at or call 919-394-2214 if you’re interested or have any questions.
