Xpress Communications –  is offing a Free Month of the base Service Fee for their TCS Online Cloud-Based Time Clock System for any new client that signs up in August. TCS Online tracks employee time and works with most any internet connected device requiring no special equipment to buy. Data collection is achieved through PCs, Macs, tablets, and smartphones. The system also tracks GPS location of the clock-in and clock-out activity, and it now includes Job Tracking. Habitat Goldsboro-Wayne to compete in online voting contest 
Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne needs the community’s help by voting for it to receive a $25,000 grant from State Farm to help improve our Wayne County. Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 12 a.m. and ending Aug. 23 at 11:59 p.m.
With your help Habitat Goldsboro-Wayne and is A Brush With Kindness program can be one of those top 40 vote-getters. Seeking to work with low- to moderate-income families who already own their homes, A Brush With Kindness focuses on minor, exterior repairs – those types of repairs that can improve a family’s safety and well-being, help avoid future problems and improve a home’s curbside appeal.

Heroes Sports Oyster Bar & Grill School Supplies Drive August 1st – 14th
Heroes Sports Oyster Bar and Grill will be collecting school supplies and donating them to local schools in our community. Anyone who brings in school supplies will receive a free Heroes Fried Onion!

This will be an impactful event, filled with smiles, laughter, and emotion as we reflect on all of the years that the Y has made an impact in our community. We will also be remembering our Y family that we have lost.  We will be inducting Mary Martin Borden, Bob “B.G.” Darden, Bobby Kadis and Charles Norwood, Chuck and Peggy Ford, Dr. Allan Harvin, Marlene Wilson.
