The former W.A. Foster Center was a hub of activity and a safe haven for many Goldsboro residents who grew up there under the guidance of beloved recreation leader, James “T.C.” Coley. The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrates the reopening and rededication of this community building in honor of T.C. Coley. The City of Goldsboro invested $200,000 into the renovation of the building, which was left vacant with the construction of a new W.A. Foster Center at Mina Weil Park.
